Income Assistance recipients from Fort Simpson and Wrigley who received Income Assistance (including Income Assistance for Seniors and Persons with Disabilities) during the month of June or July 2026 and are affected by wildfires, will be issued the Emergency Allowance benefits.

The rate of emergency allowance is:

•  $500 for single applicants
• $1,000 for families

If you do not have direct deposit, please contact the local ECE Service Centre of the community where you have been evacuated to let them know so we can make alternative arrangements.
