Art Curriculum Information and Documents
Arts Education is an important component of personal, social, and intellectual development. Research studies point to strong relationships between learning in the arts and fundamental cognitive skills and capacities used to master other core subjects, including reading, writing, and mathematics. Arts experiences have also been shown to improve spatial reasoning, verbal skills, motivation, innovation, reading comprehension, writing skills as well as decrease drop-out rates and stereotypical attitudes.
