Dedicated Wage Funding
Overview
Dedicated Funding to support wages for early childhood educators employed in licensed centre-based programs and employer related costs.
Available Funding
This funding is based on the number of full-time equivalent employees required for a program, which is based on the staff-to-child ratio outlined in the Early Learning and Child Care Standards Regulations, Section 75.
If a program has consistently low attendance, they may receive 50% of the funding. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis, as needed.

Eligibility
Licensed centre-based early learning and child care programs
How to apply
Licensed centre-based programs automatically receive this funding. They do not need to apply as eligible funding amounts are calculated based on annual reporting or during licensing.
