Overview

This program provides support for third-party organizations to deliver community and regional activities aimed at increasing skills development, including workplace essential skills, in the labour market.  

Funding is provided to organizations for up to 26 weeks to deliver local activities aimed at increasing skills development, including workplace essential skills.

Funding may be available for:

  • Wages for supervisors

  • Project overhead costs

  • Supplies

  • Equipment rentals

  • License fees

  • Administrative costs

  • Tuition or course costs

These costs must be included in the proposal submitted to an Education, Culture and Employment (ECE) Regional Service Centre.

Available funding

There is no maximum allowable funding, it is dependent on regional budgets, available funding and regional approvals.

There is no deadline to apply. This program can be accessed at any time.

Eligibility

Community Training Partnership projects may include the following group skills training:

  • literacy and numeracy

  • upgrading

  • workplace essential skills

  • life skills

  • employment readiness programs

  • pre-employment training courses

  • skill-specific training programs
