Design Guidelines for early learning and child care facilities are intended to ensure that child care spaces are safe, functional, developmentally appropriate, child-friendly and accessible for children and families. They are intended to support potential operators of licensed early learning and child care facilities and provide information on minimum standards for licensed centre-based facilities.
