One way you can support Indigenous languages is by learning simple phrases such as “hi”, “my name is”, and “thank you” in the Indigenous language(s) of your community or region and sharing them at home, work, school, and in your community.

By learning and speaking Indigenous words you increase the visibility and awareness of Indigenous languages and the rich cultures of the north.
