Objective:
To give students the perspective that even though the
spider is a very small and seemingly insignificant
creature, it has an important and even powerful place in
the Dene universe. The spider is so highly honoured by
the Dene that it is referred to as "ùehts'e"
(grandfather) even today. A grandfather possesses all
the qualities that one should strive to imitate in their
own life. |
