Aboriginal resources

INTRODUCTION

This selected and annotated description of Aboriginal resources has been prepared for Aurora College's ACTE program by the Yamozha Kue Society formerly known as Dene Cultural Institute.  It is intended as a tool for the ACTE instructors who might wish to undertake some background reading prior to teaching the ACTE courses.

It was compiled through reading in an effort to arrive at a selected bibliography that reflects the ACTE course contents.  The emphasis is on Northwest Territories Aboriginal resources however some other Canadian Aboriginal resources are included where generic traditional knowledge applies.  The time period covered is early 80's to present.
